International Council Of Women

ICW, founded in 1888, is an international non-governmental
organization comprising National Councils of Women of every
continent.
It is a federation of women of all nations, races, creeds
and cultural traditions.
Its aim is to help make women aware, not only of their rights
but also of their civic, social and political responsibilities
to society as a whole.
ICW is in consultative status (Category 1) with the Economic
and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).
